Citywide Palm Tree Trimming begins July 7, 2017 and will continue for 8-10 weeks. Beginning in the Downtown area, you will begin to see "No Parking" and "Street/Lane Closed" signs where the work is being done. Portions of some parking lots will also be closed during this time. Information is available for residents regarding how to purchase a bench or walkway brick in memory of a four-legged friend or family member.
The newly refurbished dog park features brand new sod, benches, drinking fountains, LED lighting, new walkways, irrigation and more shading for everyone.
“The Palm Springs Dog Park has been transformed into a state-of-the-art pooch paradise,” according to City Manager David H. Ready. “It’s incredibly gratifying to see how the fruits of our Measure J tax dollars have led to these wonderful improvements for residents and their four-legged friends.”
