This February join us at the Pam Springs Art Museum for "Intertwining the Fabric of Generations" an exhibition about identity, community , and storytelling. "Intertwining the Fabric of Generations" will present artwork by Faith Ringgold , a 93 year old internationally renowned artist alongside narrative quilts by local Palm Springs Unified School District students. Th exhibition will be celebrated with a reception on Thursday, February 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Featuring City of Palm Springs Mayor Robert Moon, presenting Black History Month proclamation.
The exhibition will be on-view in the Sheffer/Scheffler Arts Education Space at the Museum from February 2 until February 28 "Intertwining the Farbric of Generations" was organized by the Palm Springs Art Museum in collaboration with the Palm Springs Black History Committee and the City of Palm Springs James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center.
